Larry Noseman je název "one man" projektu chlapíka Larse, který je jednak ąéfem labelu Pride and Passion Records, ale také hrál v kapelách jako Buzz Off!! nebo Shaven Heads. Na této nahrávce si vąechny nástroje obstaral sám a má za to ode mne velký respekt, protoľe výsledek je naprosto geniální. Hudebn? se to pohybuje na vlnách roc´n´rollu a bovver rocku. Na své si p?ijdou tedy fandové kapel jako: Giuda, The Janitors, The Clichés a z nov?jąích nap?íklad Hard Wax. Celkový náklad je 203 kus? (151 ?erných, 46 oranľových, 6 oranľových s ?erným mramorováním). Vinyl má p?kn? graficky zpracovaný obal a uprost?ed má velkou díru - coľ se zase tak ?asto nevidí. Po vąech sm?rech opravdu skvost do kaľdé sbírky. Doufám, ľe nez?stane pouze u tohoto debutu, ale bude pokra?ovat ve skv?le zapo?até práci.

Larry Noseman the name of "one man" project guy Lars who is owner of the label Pride and Passion Records, but also played in bands like Buzz Off !! or Shaven Heads. On this recording all the instruments himself and procured considers me a lot of respect, because the result is absolutely brilliant. Musically it moves on the waves roc'n'rollu and Bovver rock. On his coming to fans of bands like: Giuda, The Janitors, The Clichés and recent example of Hard Wax. The total cost is 203 units (151 black, 46 orange, 6 orange with black marbling). Recenze Backstreet Battalion:
Larry Noseman je pseudonym kytaristy Larse, kterého znáte z Buzz Off!! nebo Shaven Heads a nebo práv? z provozu labelu Pride and Passion Records. Tato deska je zajímavá tím, ľe vąechny nástroje nahrál on sám. EPko, které má uprost?ed velkou díru (takľe musíte ąáhnout po redukci) je limitováno 203 kousky (151 ?erných a zbytek oranľových) a obsahuje t?i anglicky zpívané songy ? Short Hair, Sideburns Bovver Boots na stran? A a The Drug Called Love a Working Class na stran? B. První song není nic jiného neľ Go Johnny Go od Chucka Berryho s p?ed?laným textem, kde Johnny je nasranej a pokérovanej týpek, co chce hrát v rnr kapele. Na one man projekt skute?n? klobouk dol?. Paráda.
Review Backstreet Battalion:
Larry Noseman is artistic name of Lars whom you may know from Buzz Off!! or Shaven Heads or from label Pride and Passion Records. This EP is interesting in that fact that it is one man project and he recorded all instruments himself. EP has big hole in the middle (so you have to use reduction) is limite to 203 copies (151 in black and the rest orange). And it contains three songs in English - Short Hair, Sideburns Bovver Boots on side A and The Drug Called Love and Working Class on side B. The first song is nothing more than Go Johnny Go from Chuck Berry with changed lyrics where Johnny is angry tattooed guy who wants to play in rnr band. The first song from side B is in similar bovver rock/glam rhythm with significant solo guitar with high tunes. It is called The Drug Called Love and it is about your girl and your addiction on her. The last piece is called Working Class and is tis in blues swinging rhythm (with nice solos again) about the trouble of working man who do his best for his family. Sound is great and you may hear that Lars is really multi-instrumentalist. If you like The Clichés, Guida, Hard Wax or similar bands you will love this sound also. Inside is Lars photo, short thankslist, some grahice and lyrics. Really nice one one man project!
Review American Oi:
Larry Noseman is the project of Pride And Passion?s own head honcho Lars. Besides releasing some sick (and nauseating limited) records with his label, he apparently can play an instrument or three as well, as Larry Noseman is a one-man outfit, completely recorded and sung in by Lars, aka Larry, himself!
In comparison the first thing, or should I say person, that came to my mind is obviously Arch Rivals? Tom Boutwood, who single handedly recorded previous releases with Hostile Minds (though a complete band now) and Hard Wax. And especially to the latter one, the Larry-show shows strong resemblances, as their sound leans to the same direction of raucous rock ?n? roll, glam-ish riffs and fierce bovver rock!
Although never out of style, I reckon it is partly due to the success of a band such as Giuda that this type of glam-influenced proto-Oi! is back in the spotlights again, and Larry Noseman?s debut EP ?Short Hair, Sideburns, Bovver Boots? deserves to be in the spotlight! The three tracks on this 45 are just pure class, brought with a hint of rock ?n? roll disgrace and a small dose of Chiswick-ness, Larry knows how to get those boots off the ground with the up-tempo title-track, the rockin? love song ?Drug Called Love? and the slow-paced stomper ?Working Class? (hey hey), some crackin? tunes indeed!
So cut that hair, grow those sideburns, put them heavy boots on and go mental to Larry Noseman?s beat! Clean, riotous proto-Oi! for fans of Hammersmith Gorillas, Third World War, ?77-era Skrewdriver or newer bands such as The Janitors and The Clichés! Hopefully more will follow!
