The Righteous were a skinhead band from the Stockholm area of Sweden. Their debut album "...and the saga begins" was released on Chapter 11 / TKO Records in 2000 and the band went on to record this album at the end of the same year, and it had been collecting dust ever since. The band's singer Robban went on to form Antipati in 2006. Back to the album: way too good to go to waste, and here it finally is some 11 years late and on Pure Impact. Great upbeat Oi!, harder skinhead rock, streetrock and some faster songs, very varied, but still with enough consistency to make it a solid album. The lyrics deal with typical skinhead subjects, girls, society,... 16 songs, good for some 50 minutes of music and not a single bad song! Limited edition release of 500 copies.
