Cracks and Scars je pro m? neznámá kapela od naąich n?meckých soused? a toto je jejich debutové album (jako vinyl vychází u Steel Town Records), ale existuje i demo s názvem Hold Fast. Album je sice debutové, ale ?lenové mají zkuąenosti s hraním v nap?íklad Guts and Glory, Maskapone, I Defy, Souls on Fire nebo Miozän. Styl Cracks and Scars by se dal nejlépe popsat asi jako streetcore, protoľe se v n?m p?kn? prolínají vlivy HC, Oi!/streetpunku, ale i jiných styl?. Na CD je celkem 12 song? se standardní stopáľí a vąechny v angli?tin?. Songy jsou spíąe st?edního tempa, ale ob?as se objeví i rychlejąí v?c. Textov? je to o prohnilé vlád?, která se tvá?í, jak bojuje za správné v?ci, pokrytectví a lľi, o tom, jak se nepod?ídíme spole?nosti a jejímu nátlaku na nás, nebo alespo? ne v tomto ľivot?, o tom, ľe sice v ľivot? d?láme chyby a v?ci, na které nejsme hrdí, ale nic se nedá vrátit zp?t nebo klasické páte?ní popíjení. Kapela hraje v p?ti ?lenech a já si myslím, ľe dv? kytary do streetcoru prost? pat?í, minimáln? kv?li zvuku p?i ľivém hraní. Hodn? z jejich muziky tvo?í hlas jejich zp?váka Franka, který ss p?ehledem zvládá melodické i tvrdąí pasáľe. CD je zabalené do parádního digipacku, kde nechybí ani texty ani mraky fotek. Mn? se nejvíce líbily písn? jako Walk It Like You Talk, Lowlife, Just Time a nebo No Matter. Ur?it? se to bude líbit t?m, co mají rádi Toxpack, starąí Discipline, Blood for Blood, Bonecrusher a jiné tvrdąí bandi?ky.

Cracks and Scars is unknown band for me from our western neighbors from Germany and this is their debut album (as a vinyl it is out on Steel Town Records) but they have also demo album called Hold Fast. Album is debut but the people in the band have experiences with bands like Guts and Glory, Maskapone, I Defy, Souls on Fire or Miozän. Style Cracks and Scars can be described as streetcore because in their style are mixing styles such as HC, Oi!/streetpunk but also other styles. On CD are 12 songs with standard playtime all in English. They are in the middle rhythm and time to time they switch into the faster one. Lyrics are about the rotten government which told to people that they are doing the right thing, hypocrites and liesw, about the fact that we didn´t play by society rules, about the mistakes in life which can´t be taken back or about classic Friday drinking time. The band plays in five and I have to say that two guitars are necessary for streetcore style especially for live playing. The music is standing also on Frank´s vocals which can sing in melodic level but also in hard one. CD is packed in nice digipack with lyrics and many photos. I like thwe songs Walk It Like You Talk, Lowlife, Just Time or No Matter. People who like Toxpack, older Discipline, Blood for Blood, Bonecrusher or other harder bands will like also this band.
